June 19, 2019

The Fireside Chat Recap

Kicking off the Experience Tanzania NYC Fest was the fireside chat which brought together friends of Tanzania from different backgrounds to share about their contribution and interests in Tanzania.

The Experience Tanzania NYC Fest, an immersive cultural Fest in New York City brought to you by Curious on Tanzania. The fest took place at Punto Space in New York City on June 15th, bringing the Tanzanian experiences to the people of NYC and beyond, through music, dance, talks/chats, food, culture, travel and more.

The Fireside Chat was co-host by Justa and Ebony Lambright - Ebony has spent the last several years speaking and hosting events, everything from Talent shows to youth empowerment workshops. Ebony also has a love for dance and in 2017, she had the honor of traveling to Tanzania with Curious on Tanzania, where she performed with the Juliana, a Swahili Musical Drama at the International Zanzibar Film Festival.
