Zawadi Residency is a life-changing cultural immersion experience designed for curious travelers, students, creatives, and remote workers seeking a deeper connection with Tanzania.
"Zawadi" means gift in Swahili, and this residency is a gift of time, place, and perspective. It invites you to slow down, explore authentically, and reconnect with the land, the culture, and your creative flow.
Bring your dream project or simply your curiosity. Whether you're writing, designing, building, creating, or reimagining what's next, you'll have dedicated time and space to work while immersed in everyday Tanzanian life. Between focused creative sessions, you'll discover local communities, food, culture, nature, and meaningful connections that inspire new ideas and lasting growth.

Eligibility
Resident must be 18 years or older by the first day of the program. Under 18 may travel with parent or guardian
Housing & Dining
Stay in comfortable accommodations throughout Tanzania while experiencing authentic local culture and hospitality. Meals include a mix of traditional Tanzanian and international cuisine, with dietary needs accommodated whenever possible.

Tution
The two-week Zawadi Residency starts at $2,990 per person (sharing accommodation).
Payment Plans
Flexible payment plans are available (Up to 10months payment plan), and family and friends can contribute toward your program fee as a gift.
